I think I might have been in Amoeba Music in Haight - or at least a similar music shop in that area. Was on a West Coast trekking trip back in 2001 and we were told to go down there by the guide for a real authentic 'hippy' town vibe. It was the last time I ever spent searching through hundreds of records to see what was about, just in the hope of finding that rare gem!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Reminds me too of being a kid back in the 80's and travelling into Leicester (which was really good for record shops at the time). Week in and out searching for those elusive Sisters of Mercy 12&amp;quot; remixes/extended versions that we so wanted. Never did find them, but it was the thrill of it. THe chase so to speak. Kids these days have no idea what they are missing out on.&lt;/p&gt;
