Hi Andy

Any idea when you're getting the 40" samsung b750 or samsung b6000.

would be good to see g10 vs these.

Good to see that the team survived looking into the vortex of infinitie blacks and come out unscathed.  Are the SD images on this full HD set comparable to those on the TH-P42X10, or does the less expensive HD ready set still represent a better option for watching primarily SD?

hi,

Whf team - how far do you sit when testing the tv, for dvd, sd tv, and hd sources. Does the distance differ depending on the source.

I´m thinking of buying a v10 (which I know you haven´t seen yet) - do you if the g10, or panasonics in general, have a headphone connection. Unfortuneately I live in a flat and will have to use headphones at night - so no surround sound system for me.

Thanks

The official word from the test team is that's there's really not much in it when it comes to SD viewing. Panasonics generally, and the X10 and G10 in particular, have very good Freeview tuners so neither will disappoint.

We generally sit the same distance from the screen whatever the source material, but the bigger the screen the further back you'll need to be. For more hints and tips on the optimum distance to sit from your screen, watch our 'How to get the best from your TV' video.

The Pioneers still have noticeably better blacks than the G10.

All the Panasonic sets have a headphone socket with its own independent volume control (from the tv speakers). On the G10 it is on the side.

Apart from the the styling, the G10 is a big step forward from the PZ81.

How is the G10 for gamers? is there much input lag? Phosphor trails?

Hi,

Was this the finding of the WHF testing team - how much better in blacks is the Pioneer G9 over the Panny G10 - is there a noticeable difference? How much of an improvement is there over last years models? I assume the Panny G10 will not be able to match the SD performance of the G9 Kuro?
