Woody Allen at his peak was the greatest talent in film making. Many regard Annie Hall as on of the best films ever made. Manahttan, Midsummer Nights Sex Comedy, Everything you ever wanted to know about sex and the hysterical Love and Death are all brilliant.
Yep, agreed.
Good man. I will add you to my mental "trustworthy opinions" list
LOL! For all you know, Fred West may have been a big Woody fan!
Which would have meant his opinions on films would have been sound...

Mamma Mia. Terrible film with wooden acting and terrible singing. Its so bad its almost good. IMO

Yet it's the best box office run ever in British cinema history I think, and also the fastest selling DVD of all time (in Britain).

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

I watched a film called "The Way of War" yesterday, and that is definitely one of the worst.

Mamma Mia doesn't even come close, since it has a plot (I though that is in in fact so bad that it is good again).

I remember sitting thru spiceworld at the cinema with my young one when it came out and it felt about seven hrs long

Recently thru a lovefilm trial i endured "Twilight" and "Confessions of a shopaholic", both made me feel quite ill, but last year threw up 2 major disappointments in the "Get smart" movie with steve carell and a righteous kill with de niro and pacino, the latter being such a pudding it could easily make you forget that "Heat" is the best thriller of the last 20 years.

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

What, even more boring than some of Andy Warhol's films, such as Empire, which is a static film of the Empire State Building, lasting 485 minutes?  In black & white.   With no sound.

(Actually, that does sound quite interesting!)

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

Finally seen Max Payne. It wasnt the worst ive seen as it just didnt inspire me to...anything. It just bored me. It didnt anger, irritate, or make me ashamed/embarrassed, it just...was.

However, I'm not who its aimed at, and I'm not familiar with the game, any further than knowing the film was inspired by a game of the same name.

White Chicks, the only film I've ever walked out of.

The Saw series after the second or third gives a whole lot of contenders too. Not putting any hope in the new one being any good.

The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford.

So dull that after about an hour I skipped through the remaining 90 minutes on fast forward.
