is this the best freesat can offer ? a few hours of new hd , yea its nice to see a live ( if it even is live ) michael jackson tribute , but what about the NEW freesat hd channels ? er , where are they , yes we are in a recession ,  freesat promised new hd channels every year before the bubble burst , so you can understand it taking a bit longer given the circumstances , but if they want to lure people away from sky , surely they can do better than a one night wonder ???

I think thats the whole point, they do not see themselves as competition to Sky, rather its a means to provide a digital TV service to those areas of the country that cannot recieve a freeview signal. We have to patient in regards to HD development as its new technology and will take time to procure. I remember when colour TV first came on, that took along time to take off.
