I have recently moved house and no longer have room to displayed my B&W 602's on stands.

I have a 2m long AV unit and have decided to pop one at each end.

My question is will I need to use anything under them?

If so what do you suggest?

Spikes on coins.

yes thats what i thought!

however, how do I connect the speakers to the spikes/cones?  Most spikes I have looked at have a screwable end??? 

are there any specific spikes/cones I should be looking at? 

You dont want to go screwing spikes into speakers. Id try big blobs of blu-tack between speakers and the rack. Cheap as chips too!
