Which set up?

I am undecided between the following:


Mezzo 6


Tannoy DCT6


Focal chorus 714


Which one you recommend and what should be the pairing like?

Can you give us a bit more to work with? What music do you listen to? What are you using for source and amplification?

i am looking to buy the amp after i hv decided on the speakers.

Source will be dvd/blu ray

music will be jazz/country music and looking at setting up a home theatre

only one I've heard is Focal 714, Jazz/Country sounded great to me, but if You have possibility to demo the other ones do so!

Mezzo 6 are fine speakers but don't pair too well with Cyrus equipment.  I have Mezzo 6's driven by Cyrus and I'm looking to change the speakers as soon as the budget allows.  Need more bass.


If I were you I'd buy the system first, then decide on the speakers.  What you're doing riight now is deciding you want a red car, then figuring out which car it should be.

I am looking to take a Denon 4310 and was looking to pair the Mezzo 6 with the Mezzo 2/5/9.
