weres my reciever-box

i have had a krp 600a on deposite for a few months,they couldnt deliver ect,ect and funds were short.so i was in the north of ireland today on work issues and as i had the van  idecided to pick up my kuro in belfast (richersounds) while i was there i asked twice is the reciever box with the screen and the sales man said yes of course. but 5 hours of a drive later i go to set up my new kuro ......agh no reciever not a sniff ,these people are supose to be professional.blah would you sell a jag without an engine.it wouldent be to bad if there was a hdmi socket but no , and at 10 oclock at nite cant do to mutch about it .but thats a majer bobo in my book

You are so annoyed you seem to have lost the ability to write or spell in english !

If you'd travelled all that way and was unsure about the receiver box when you collected the TV, why didn't you just ask them to open the box, check it was in there and then get them to reseal it - I would have thought they'd have parcel tape in their shops.

When you've calmed down, try calling richersounds tomorrow and sorting this out with them - I'm sure nobody here has any idea where your receiver is, but if your rant has helped you 'vent your spleen' and made you into a calmer person, then all is good. There wasn't anything worth watching on TV tonight anyway!

thanks for that,yes was very tired ,just rang the store and there looking into it .bank holiday weekend footy and movies ,and all i have is a blank screen.

Ah shame you didn't mention this before (but why would you?), the media receiver is shipped in a seperate box.

I know because when my Pioneer dealer came to set up my 500a they forgot the media box as well! I waited until they'd got everything else set up and the bloke was sitting there scratching his head as to how he was going to connect anything to it before I mentioned it!

They were fine though, they sent someone out from the store to bring it over there and then, which was nice, so it was only another 15 minutes to wait, no big deal.

No kit worth mentioning...

Must admit I'm surprised RS even had one, I didn't think they were Pioneer Level 1 dealers.

One point, are you sure you haven't got a 600m? That doesn't come with a media box, just a single hdmi socket on the screen (instead of the system cable socket).

No kit worth mentioning...

no its a 600a and at one oclock  today they rang to say they found it in the store room,but due to bankholiday in the rep of ireland it will be tuesday before i get it.so a extra long weekend. it will be worth it .

no the krp 600a/p doesnt have a hdmi, otherwise id be flying. its just a bit funny on my stand is my samsung 42" and on the floor,out of harms way is my kuro.not long to wait now 3,dys and counting

You what? I'm not sure I'd have accepted that as an answer! Saturday's a working day for Richer Sounds, they should have sent someone out with the box, I think I'd have been screaming blue murder down the phone at them!

well its tuesday and still no box, rang shop and was told ,the lads said they sent it we will check with couriers tomorrow, and ring you to let you know, thats six days waiting ,not what i call service

hello people its been a while, but it came on the wedensday and wow wow , couldnt tell you all as power supply on lap top blew tipical.

yep best ive seen . put the media box in one of the racks and forget about it untill u need it ,it just disapears.
