Size Zero 32" - any recommendations

I'd like to get a stylish (ie looks just as good not switched on) wall hung 32" (37" at a push).  I love the look of the new Panasonic Z1 Plasma, but the smallest they do is way too big for the bedroom chimney breast where this will hang.  Equally the Sony EX1 (looks like a picture frame) looks pretty stylish.

It seems that the most stylish / thin models (plasma and LCD / LED) only seem to come in 40" plus which is just too big.

Naturally I'd also like the TV to perform well!

It does NOT have to be wireless - in fact it would be much better if there is a wired connection - ideally to a separate media box which can be hidden away one (concrete) floor below in a cupboard.

All ideas / suggestions gratefully accepted!

88mm is still a bit podgy and I'm not sure about the Philip's design 'feature' in the middle of the bottom - this may work on a stand, but not wall hung (at least not to my eye).

I think 'waiting' may be the best option - but how long?!  I heard somewhere that the manufacturers have 'seasons' where they all bring out their new kit - I assume Christmas / New Year is one of the periods where new stuff comes out.  Guess I have to be patient (it's 9 years since I bought a 42" Loewe Spheros and I can attest to how quickly the technology and prices change)!

If I'm understanding you right then you want a thin as possible TV that looks great on aswell as off?

Then take a look at the Samsung LED 6 series...

Comes in 32 inches

Looks pretty stylish if you ask me.
