Re: GAME-SLAYTION !

Thats actually a good deal I would say. If the shop sell new for £44, that probably means they pay about £20-25 for new stock. How much do they sell 2nd hand games for £30?

Re: GAME-SLAYTION !

You could try Computer Exchange. At least you can go on their website and find out what the trade in price is.
It's all part of the plan.....More or less

Re: GAME-SLAYTION !

Computer Exchange (CEX) - okay if you can put up with the wait to be served!

HMV also do trade-ins, though I doubt their offers will be better than Game.

You could also sell them via Amazon ...

Re: GAME-SLAYTION !

Yup, CEX do the best trade in rates, which are all shown on your website. You can usually play through a game, trade it in for another second hander, and it's cost you a fiver.

These days though I tend to rent newer releases from Blockbuster. With a lot of games clocking in at around 10-12 hours for the campaign, it hardly seems worth buying when I can rent for a fiver.

Re: GAME-SLAYTION !

Hi,

Blockbuster used to do good trade in prices. Haven't had one locally for a few months now though so cannot comment on recent 'exchange rate'.

Cheers,
