There are a number of similarities between homeopathy and mains leads, both rely on user belief to "work".

Because the belief in homepathy and the belief in burning in mains cables are intellectually equivalent

Re: Mains cable 'burn in' question?

I cant believe anyone would take cable break in seriously. or pay serious amounts of money for a mains cable, shorter, fatter and screened is the only thing you need in a good cable and nothing more. may be there should be a proven standard for cables to prevent manufactures from putting extortionate prices on them.

Just try it and if you know the way your system sounds, then you will notice an immediate improvement. There's no point in denying that it works as I have experienced it. End of.

Re: Mains cable 'burn in' question?

Presumably, the burn in effect can be easily demonstrated....if you happen to have two of the same cable: one new; one "run in".

BTW, I didn't think we were doing these cable debates any more?
