Avatar cant load?? Tried numerous times under account settings :(

Dear WHF staff, how do I go about putting my avatar on? Does the pic need to be a certain size before i can upload it?

Can get it to work so far...thx for your advice

Apart from the Runtime and Avatar errors I am finding it slow to enter posts.  The text is appearing really slow and even after entering it the page will jump to page 1 of the thread sometimes.  It's the slowest forum I've ever used.

It's like slowmo./bullet time as seen in the Matrix Movies.

If I click on edit to edit a previous post the text appears for a few seconds as html before I can type.

 

Working fine this end. What network connection/broadband speed are you using? Those pesky Runtime errors should now have been banished. And yes, we do work Bank Holiday weekends! Big Smile

Understandably, we've prioritised stabilising and adding to the site before dealing with Avatars, but it's on the list...

Yeah it works but it's slowwwww.  Not as fast as other forums sites I use which are instant.

I think it is down to the software that What HiFi uses to power the forums.

We know, we know - not our decision to use this, but definitely our decision to CHANGE it: upgrade due before Xmas....
