Glad your changing the software then.

When entering a new post you have to wait for it to draw a box and then the icons come in one by one before you can start typing.

Even more enoying is if you want to edit a post it appears as html content first then changes to text before you can start typing.

http://www.vbadvanced.com/ is what a lot of forums use - Used by the most famous one which I can not mention.

vBadadvanced is using vBulletin which is great software but is php based, (at the moment) Haymarket is .net based so we don't have the inhouse skills to work within a LAMP environment... This may change in the future and then all sorts of other options would become available.

The upgrade project for What Hi-Fi and Stuff is going to be starting soon and the main part of the project is going to be looking at the forums area, we do care, honest!

If you see specific problems do flag them up on this forum, I look at it everyday so I will pick them up and see what I can do to sort them out.
