Interconnect help

Can anyone help me out with which cable to use between cd and amp.

I have an Arcam CD72T An Arcam A65+ and B&W 601S3 speakears.

Probably one of these cables I just don't know which one would suit the best.

Atlas Equator

Chord Crimson or Chord Cobra

Van Den Hul The Name

QED Performance, QED Reference, or QED Signature.

If there is anything else feel free to through it in there

Hi Bluboy,


I recommend the kimber pbj or timbre as well. Chord crimson are a nice starter cable balanced and fairly open, chord cobra 3 is a little more open and detailed. In the past I tried QED but not as nice and natural sounding like the chords. The more expensive vandenhul v102 iii were a little harsh on my system not sure about  vanden hul the name. Atlas Equator get good reviews.

no fancy packing, no fat dealer margins, just  extreme value for money.


i have 3 sets and for the money untouchable....

Too many to call....however...I use Merlin interconnects and speaker cable and I am very happy with it. Have a look at their website, they have a varied range and all good stuff

I would go for Van Den Hul The Name since I did direct test between them and Chameleon Silver + which cost much more, and there are minor differences.

I second lordmortlock, Chord Cham Silver Plus is probably the most popular cable here and there is a solid reason why.

If you aren`t soldering iron inclined this is a good plan, expensive cables are usually a rip-off.

in the search bar put silver hi....on the drop down silver high breed should appear. they are def there, just looked.
