Life on (and off) the forum...

My 3000th post. Enjoyed everyone of them. I would have got to 3000 earlier but for The Moderator stepping in on the odd occasion, like the time I suggested.........

Anyway, Auntie Angelina and anyone else who wants to comment, hows life for you on the forum? My main enjoyment is the interaction, particularly with new members who are also new to hifi. My only dis-satisfaction is, not surprisingly the unecessary bickering that some actually appear to relish.

My benefits from forum membership has been numerous. The learning achieved from the many knowledgeable members. The development of hifi from an interest to my main hobby. The chat, which has often been LOL entertaining. That, with the music has been very theraputic.

This is me, not very photogenic and my name is Ian..........

Hi Ian, it's good having you around. I'm hungover and not feeling very chatty right now but keep up the posting!

Re: Life on the forum.

I certainly enjoy being on the forum! I have learnt a fair bit whilst on here and my current Hifi is what it is from the interactions on here.

Certainly many of the threads are entertaining and educational. There are many interesting personalities on here which help make the forum what it is.

As for the arguments, I don't get involved although they are sometimes fun to read.

Your contributions on the 'listen to now' thread have lead me to music that have broadened what I thought were already broad music tastes Survivor, Beer . I am so glad that that thread has run and run, nice one Fast Eddie.

Joel, do mean to say, that I look like a handsome, amenable, Leeds Utd fan? One out three is correct.

BTW, is the OP's picture the acceptable face of the Cybermen, or am I suffering from pre-jet-lag having been up since 4am to watch the Japanese GP qualifying in order to get onto something like halfway there time...?
