dfs advertising

On the site! I would have thought the profile here wasn't quite what they were after. Mind you with some of the spelling we see sometimes, maybe it is.

Shocking.

Perhaps he's trying to make a connection between the two somewhere, but IMO you shouldn't really try and tar everyone with the same brush.

Re: dfs advertising

Maybe I'm being a bit of a snob, but the number of times I've seen something like 'there' instead of 'their' makes me wonder.

Maybe.

Could be some people suffer from word blindness/dyslexia.

It still does not mean they shop at DFS or you need to be dyslexic to shop there.

From the executive lounge to a higher plane in one step, Joel? How do the rest of us look from up there? Like ants...?

Makes you feel sort of humble in a way really.

Yes, I wish I understood advertising, too...

Though I think playing this would probably help

Don't worry Al, it's not unusual around here  Smile

As for DFS advertising on this site, we all need somewhere to sit when listening to our systems. Or maybe this thread has nothing to do with DFS. In that case, I'm with Al.

Re: dfs advertising

Im maybe wrong but I get the impression he meant that people who shop at DFS are not the type of people who would use this forum. The bit about the spelling implies that people who shop at DFS are uneducated. Obviously forum members are all way too middle class, well educated and know their Claret from their Beaujolais to shop in such a place and buy sofas from The Conran Shop.Huh?
