Worst film you've ever seen.

I'm talking NO redeeming features here.

My choice? The House Of The Dead.

Truly atrocious on all levels.

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

sleuth, the new version just looking at the actors and the director, Michael Cain, Jude Law, directed by Ken Branagh with screen play by Harold Pinter i was expecting something special but good lord its utter rubbish...it just does not involve you at all and has not a jot of whit or charm and its supposed grittiness in place of the charm is just plane silly.

watch the original...

or Gigli with J-Lo and Ben Afflick....

or alone in the dark....but that did have Tara Reid in it :-)

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

I watched the worst film i've seen in a long while earlier this week - 10,000BC.

Truly atrocious from start to finish - script, acting, plot, editing, and effects were all woeful. Ironically, it's a sparkling Blu-ray release, with superb picture (which just shows up the dodgy effects) and corking HD sound. Thankfully I only rented it from LoveFilm...

Previous to that, I think Guy Ritchie and Madonna are the couple with the worst film credentials between them. Once Matthew Vaughan left the Ritchie/Vaughan field (after Lock Stock and Snatch) I think it's clear to see where the talent lay...

So, Swept Away and Revolver have to be contenders for worst film - I didn't finish watching either.

Eyes Wide Shut would be on my list, too...

Funnily enough, that's what got me thinking. I recorded Alone In The Dark last night and was watching it earlier. It got me thinking as to how video game transfers are on the whole quite terrible....That's when I remembered House Of The Dead...

*And I didn't pick A.I.T.D for precisely the same reason as you!

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

One Fine Day w/George Clooney was pretty dreadful; I walked out of the cinema from sheer boredom.

Me, You and Everyone We Know was odd and boring too. Quite well rated on IMDB so I must have missed something.

Lady In the Water was really disappointing too. I think I've become used to seeing consistently good films from Shyamalan but this could almost have been his first movie. Paul Giamatti's performance was the only redeeming feature to make it acceptable so I guess it shouldn't be counted here.

Re: Worst film you've ever seen.

Dead On Arrival - awful film based on the video game.

Inland Empire - I like David Lynch, but he must've been on something pretty strong.

Charlie's Angels 2 - The first 5 minutes lets you know you're in for pile of rubbish.

Transporter 2 - Laughable

X-Files:We Want To Believe

House Of The Dead 2 - Even worse than first

The Hunted - An hour and a half of chasing and the occassional feeble knife fight

Crash (Cronenberg) - Why?

Ah you see, but truly atrocious on all levels can't be applied to a film with Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz in it...

Because I think - judging by his output over the years - that Mr C has some "issues" he needs to work through....

But if you had to choose 1 ?

I personally cannot stand Clockwise .....I mean, about 10 minutes in I'd've said ' Sod the Conference' and gone home. In fact any movie where the pretext is illogical (Captain)

I'm not a fan either but it's hard to argue they're the worst. They're well made and the story isn't bad but I can't watch them either. Is Harry Potter worse than Closer ?

I love Clockwise - Cleese at his best after Fawlty Towers!

I truly detested The Color of Money with Mr Cruise at his hammy best/worst. The only reason I didn't walk out of the cinema was Paul Newman, one of my favourite actors.
