Also wanting to keep the names and art work etc
Just looking at the ripping side of things at the moment.
cheers.
NO NOT THAT.
and yes i was shouting.
at the moment i am flexible on the format as the player has not been decided.
But i seem to remember someone mentioning fubar something?
http://whathifi.com/forums/t/140528.aspx was what i was looking for.
PJPro:FLAC supports gapless playback. What are you usingas your media player?I use Foobar2000 and ripped the files from CD using EAC. Both of theseproducts support gapless playback.I just spent some time listening to The Wall by Pink Floyd. This has anumber of tracks which bleed into each other. Absolutely gapless. Nocracks. Perfect.
If you wanna keep your files as WAV...
yes foobar is great.
I see that EAC also error corrects DRM software!
G'day,
I've been told Exact Audio Copy is really good for ensuring you get a perfect lossless copy. See exactaudiocopy.de
Haven't tried it myself yet, but it will be the first I do try when I re-rip my music collection to lossless.
