Hi all im thinking of buying the ipod touch and i want to use it with my hifi and incar and was wondering which sounds better the touch or classic Regards Anthony

Very little between them. I use a Touch at home and in the car and it's brilliant. The bigger issue is storage capacity: the 120GB of the Classic can come in very handy, especially if you want to store lost of higher-quality Apple Lossless files. The Touch is a bit meagre  at 8, 16 or 32GB.

I own a Classic and also a 3G iPhone. Assuming the iPhone has the same musical abilities as the iTouch, I would say I can tell a difference in quality between them, with the iPhone sounding better.

Is that difference worth the extra space? Nope not really.
