Decent 37" sets with full HD are a bit limited at the moment but I've been looking at the Toshiba Regza 37" 37RV555D which you'll find on play.com.  I've not seen any magazine reviews for that TV and I can't say I know of any other decent models in this size.

Panasonic TH-37PX80, not full HD but one of the best sets at this size and highly reviewed (best buy) on this website, review here.

Im having a similar dilema, my budgets a little more than yours but just when i decide to go for the Panasonic TX-37LZD800 sony go and release the 37v4500....plus im also interested in the new toshiba as i currently have a 32" tosh regaza and its fantastic!

 Now i dont know wether to hang on until i see a review of the sony and toshiba or go ahead and get the panasonic. :(

TH-37PX80 all the way. I am a very happy and relieved owner. I previously had the TX-37LZD800 and returned it. Please see my previous post.
