Andys Records

This was an East Anglia based company from what I remember, but for a small town was great, I wasn't there but I beleive Noel Edmunds opened the shop in Haverhill.
Does anyone remember?

Yes, bought most of my pop/rock records in student days from the stall on Cambridge Market. Wikipedia has the rise and fall story...

Re: Andys Records

We had one in my home town of South Woodham Ferrers in Essex, unbelievable for that place.

I bought most of my PWEI vinyl from there...

No kit worth mentioning...

Re: Andys Records

Yeah, Bridge St., Peterborough where I bought lots of vinyl - and sold some back to them (WHY DID I DO THAT?!)

At the time it was definitely the best place to go for all genres of music in that part of the world

Sony 40W4500, Sony BDP-s350, Denon 1909, Q-AV, assorted bits of wire in-between, Varilux Physio 360 Transitions with Crizal Scotchguard

Re: Andys Records

Spent quite a bit of time in their Lancaster store. What I liked about them was that you could always get the less mainstream stuff from them, and at reasonable prices too. Was sad to see them go.
I work for a Sony Centre, part of Sony's Direct retail channel. All opinions stated here are my own.
