Hi. Can anyone tell me if its possible to link dvd recorder to sky+ and if so recommend a reliable, easy to set up/operate and reasonably priced model? All I want to do is archive/copy onto hard disc/ DVD permissable things, no interest whatsoever in trying to copy newish films. Book only mentions linkage to VCR. Sky for once not helpful, and manufacturers partic panasonic threw a hissy fit about piracy. Sky+ Box tends to fill up quickly waiting for busy people to watch recorded progs, then box breaks down and lose the lot.If I could transfer onto DVD-R/RW then everyone could watch what they wanted at leisure. Is it my imagination or are Sky+ boxes poor quality these days?

I have a Panasonic DVD recorder (DMR-EZ27) which is connected to my Sky+HD box via scart.  Of course, recordings are only SD, but it works well enough with the recorder input set to A1.

On the Sky+ box you are supposed to use Scart 1 (the bottom one.)
