Month 2 - tight at the top

With only next weekends fixtures left to play before Month 2 finishes only 3 points separates the top 5.

Manager Week 11 Pts. Month 2 Pts. Total Pts.
Mr Ian Margetts BilboGimili 19 91 329
Mr Geoff Pryor Hifi HighFlyers 28 91 405
Mr Thomas Rawlings Not Worth 50m 14 90 312
Mr Christophe Pointreau Thorpe Hall XI 16 90 314
Mr Matt Hayes The Cardinals 22 89 295

Apologies for the formatting above. When i type the table it looks neat and readable in columns, but as soon as i 'post' it to the forum, any spaces i put in between peoples scores are ignored.

SHOCKED I'm in the #2 slot having not looked at my team for weeks now. I think I'll just leave it another w/e, who knows what can happen... ;-)

According to the monthly league breakdown on the telegraph website the second month of fixtures actually finished last weekend. Monthly breakdowns for months 1 to 3 are as follows:

Month 1 (Aug 15 to Sep 28)

Month 2 (Sep 29 to Oct 26)

Month 3 (Oct  27 to Nov 30)

Going off the original post in this thread we seem to be running a week out. By the website dates this weekends fixtures should be the first of month 3????Confused

Re: Month 2 - tight at the top

Yes, just took a look at Telegraph site and the scores for the weekend just gone have been used as Month 3 scores (think it's different to last year when any game that took place in October counted to Month 2, any game in November went to Month 3 etc).

So it would appear that the Month 2 winner is as my previous post :-

David Twigg 119

Christophe Pointreau 111

Gareth Jones 110

Geoff Prior 107

Matty Hayes 105

I wouldn't take this as a 100% certain result, however i do have a copy of the final Month 2 table (updated 28th Oct) saved on my pc at home. Clare if i get a copy of this table to you to verify the Month 2 winner, would that be ok ?

Re: Month 2 - tight at the top

Below is a copy of the scores i copied from Telegraph Fantasy Football site on Saturday. These scores were updated on 27/10/09, and thus are the final scores for Month 2. Please again accept my apologies for the formatting and general untidiness of the figures (why don't Forum Posts accept multiple spaces between characters ???). The tables columns are in order of 'Overall Season Position', 'Week 11 total', 'Month 2 total', 'Overall Season total', 'Manager Name' and 'Team Name'.

So from below we can see that Geoff Prior is still in the overall lead, but the winner for Month 2 is David Twiggs "**** On The Villa" with 119 points.

Claire, hope this makes sense to you.
