Why do people insist on 'Blue' ray...????

By 'eck - it's not difficult!! It's Blu Ray - Blu !! Blu!  Blu!!

Those who insist on writing 'Blue-ray' shouldn't be allowed one.

No, it should be Blu-ray Disc, if you want to be pedantic...

Never mind just blue-ray, what about iTouch, that really makes me grind my teeth and alternate when you mean alternative.

Indeed - any derivation but just without the 'e' in it!!

Well I don't mind iTouch - it's at least a fairly logical apocopation  rather than a mis-spelling...

The etymology suggests alternate is more correct.

As for Blu Ray, I think that's stupid. S'like 'Lite' and 'Tonite' and 'Thru' and...see, I'm angry now.
