Mono radiograms.

My earliest memory of music was we had a GEC (I think) RadioGram. It was a piece of furniture, very Art Deco-styli and I remember it had a very deep, bassy sound which was typical of decent Grams.

Anyone here remember them? or did anyone own one?

Yep, we had a Ferguson model I think. They were the rage in the 1970s before the advent of the music centre (for those who don't know, it's kind of like an Arcam Solo or Linn Classik, minus the "mini" element...kind of...). We had ours up to around 1980 or so. Then we bought a Sanyo music centre and that later ended up becoming a Pioneer/Wharfedale/Fisher separates system from Comet on Dalry Road (in Edinburgh).
