Dead by Sunrise - a rock band started by Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park. It's a lot more tame and grown up than Linkin Park. Love the tracks "Let Down", "Walking in Circles", "Into You", "Too Late" among others.

Mercy Fall - this band only released one album as the lead singer went back to folk music. But great stuff on their only album. "Everything Falls", "Fade", "Here I am", "Not Broken Down" are worth a listen.

Anyhow - thought I'd share. Enjoy and let me know if you like them (obviously could be not everyone's cup of tea).

Cheers CR. Immediately didn't like Dead By Sunrise (soz), but Mercy Fall are quite good - though they remind me of both Nickelback and Daughtry (forgive him his American Idol background)

Glad you like Mercy Fall. Lately have been listening to Daughtry's new album, it's also more refined than his debut one. However I don't find Mercy Fall sounding anything like Nickelback...

Band = 'Leafhound' - Unleashed album.

OK so my mate is their drummer .... BUT even so - I genuinely think they're awesome.

They had an album out back in the '70s and then the lead singer re-formed them - they have done some gigs around Europe and stuff & I've seen then a few times in and around London.

I don't think they have had enough credit and can recommend them to anyone who likes good rock/blues.

If you like Hendrix/ZZ Top then you need to hear these guys live especially - no-one does it better & they do their own stuff too. They tour regularly / always.
