Sorry about starting another thread, but on the journey to find quality speakers for the Solo Mini, retailers have said "what have you got at the moment"?
I explain that my wife bought me the Arcam and it came with a FREE pair of 10.1's. Em is the reply, and "well you get what you pay for"!!!
That said I think What Hi Fi quote them as being best speaker under £300, problem is I am a snob when it come to HI FI and as soon as I saw the name Wharfdale I thought "those are not staying". I could be shooting myself in the foot as they may be as good as any other entry-midrange speaker. However we only have What HI FI's word for that, as I have not seen any other reviews.
I am really tempted to take an compare with CM1's and RX1's, but will I really keep them if they do?
Is this me or is there anyone else thats honest and only buys because they look better, the brand is good and they sound good?
