the bug has me

i recently upgrading my kit with the new sony 760 and denon 1910 and am watching via my pana 32 inch lzd85. the picture is AWESOME  i kid you not. however i need to upgrade to a 37 inch tv. there seems to be a shortage of quality 37 inch tv's and the one thing i do not want to do is buy a tv with a lesser picture, that is essential. any opinions out there ? for what its worth viewing distance is 2.5 m

Can you stretch to a 42" to 46", perfect for your viewing distance and a lot more choice. Seems to be the most competitive in the market place for both LCD and Plasma and decent quality can be had for not stupid money.

Thinking Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Sony and Philips all have excellent kit in these sizes

Hi

The LZD85 was a top end model at the time from Panasonic which was the only Full HD 100Hz tv available, so to keep the quality high when moving from 32" to 37", you need to get the following Panasonic's if you plan to stay with the same brand, the model's are: TX-37G10, TX-L37G15 or the TX-L37V10. The G10 series would be the direct replacement to your LZD85 model as it has the Full HD screen and the 100Hz processor. The G15 is a step up if you want a really good sound aswell as some other features. As for the V10 series, its the top of the range, best picture, best sound, design and features galore. So the choice lies with you. All great tv's!
