Speaker Advice

Hello

I have the Marantz PM6002 & CD6002 amp/cd player combo with some old B & W P4 speakers. I particularly enjoy a very clear, spacious and detailed sound with plenty of sparkly sounding treble. Although I'm sure that they are supposed to be good speakers and have had tweeters replaced recently I find the treble coming from my P4s rather thin and quiet.

Does anybody remember the P4s and know whether this seems an accurate description of their sound? I'm reluctant to change speakers as I'd be on a very tight budget (£200-£300) and it seems a shame to downgrade but if new speakers sound better then I think it would be worth it, can anyone recommend speakers to achieve the kind of sound I like? I've seen some 2nd hand EPOS 12.2, would these be a good option?

Thanks
