Ah, happy days; here I was sitting here thinking I might have to set up an alternative career as an online used goods provider (ooer missus...) and lo and behold, the phone goes and I've got myself a verbal offer for a contract in Edinburgh. Went to the interview on Wednesday and got the offer today. Very chuffed. (Sadly, it's not all good news; Mrs R_S tells me I can forget about the new amp upgrade. Such is life!)

Good news! congrats RS, but I wouldn't worry about the missus too much, once the wage slips start rolling in, she'll soften her stance.....

I start mine on Monday. Picked up the uniform yesterday but this 4 months of doing nothing has taken its toll on my midriff. They have to order my trousers in the next size up now!

 I hope Edinburgh isn't too much of a travel for you. If so, you can stay at my castle which I believe is near Edinburgh (Cramond Castle). Tell them at the gate I said it was OK.
