Next Gen 3D TV and HD BR 3D.....

Latest from T3 magazine..........

Nice to hear Sony along with Panasonic, Nvidia are on the same camp  vs Philips,Fuji vs Sky,Hyundai,Imax. A fomat 3d TV war is looming. Big Smile

The system currently in use called anagrahy using [red, green lense] glasses is definately going to be buried having debuted in the 50s.It induces fatigue, headache on prolong wear of those glasses.  No current 2D TV set is compatible with the three new proposed systems. A 3D set;special digital single lense 'twin image' projector system is required or a 2D screen with 120hz refresh rate. No current TV set can do 120hz refresh.

Nivida have 3D graphic card for 3D games out on PC but requires a unique Samsung 120hz LCD panel. Quite costy, the screen isn't that good yet. The PC will get this 3D glory first....

True 3D BR HD is coming and will deliver separate HD (1980 540] images to each eye using the Active shutter or Polarising lense system.

Sony is clearly going to ...drive home the 3D HD train.....as Howard Stringer says

There are so many incorrect pieces of information and assumptions in that post it's not even worth beginning to pick it apart.

More on 3D, the rival companies, and whether we think it's the best thing ever in the December issue of the magazine, on sale next week.

You are not going to tell me the current crop of TV works with the next gen of 3d TV techology........it does not so tell the truth!

Re: Next Gen 3D TV and HD BR 3D.....

Nvidia is using the polarised lense system for 3D HD games as their 3D graphics card wouldn't work with the 60hz screens never mind a HD TV with a SVag input. I have sampled the kit.

Consumes have been sidestepped again?  So we all going to buy a 3D TV with 120hz refresh rate to watch sky HD PVR broadcast???

Re: Next Gen 3D TV and HD BR 3D.....

Listen Maxflinn, There is nothing confusing about what I have said, if you have any facts enlighten us?

Current HD TV wouldn't work with next gen 3d as it requires 120hz screen

I have stated my case so don't try to hide your blushes of ignorance

Even Philips with the most radical 3D design, with no polarised or shutter lenses for the viewer to wear have said their current TV wouldn't work  with the system

Who gives a monkey who saw5suffer is?  The topic is not about saw5suffer.....you want to analysis suspects join the Police.

Is that meant to be Nvidia? I apologise if it's not (I don't know much about computers). If it is though, the fact that you both failed to spell nvidia properly, in fact making the same incorrect spelling, might indicate that you are one and the same.

FLATSCREEN and saw5suffer have the same IP address.

And the same habit of editing posts after they have been replied to, even if that means introducing even more erroneous statements.
