Either colour, it's still a cracking speaker  Smile

i totally agree! can you give me some options for heavy mass solid stands ? i'vre read that atacama has some new ones in the market this year. called Atacama HMS 1 & 2, and i think i noticed that they were co-designed by ProAc. what do you think i should buy to properly support a pair of speakers costing almost £2k?

The best you can get - a £2k speaker isn't going to sound like a £2k speaker if it's sitting on a pair of £9.99 Argos stands Big Smile

There's the Partington range, and yes, Atacama have the HMS 1 and 2. I'm using a pair of HMS2's for my MK S150's. All of the stands mentioned will benefit from mass filling - something like Atacama's Atabites, just to give them a little more weight and a lower centre of gravity - the more stable the base of any stand, the more stable it's going to be.

Again, which you choose is up to you - the Partington's Marmite stands with their medieval look (either love them or hate them!), or the more modern looking but functional HMS's.

Black... Smile

Black stays in fashion, other colours dont. I have a pair of black ash Dm602s , they still look good after all these years.
