About me

I'm a trained & qualified sound engineer and I've worked for several well known companies, such as Harman Kardon, JBL, Allen & Heath and Kinshaw Electronics, where I was an electronics technician and prototyper. I enjoy several hobbies, apart from the obvious one of listening to music. Spending many happy hours in my garage/workshop, I build much of my own hi-fi furniture from aluminium and glass. Present Hi-Fi system: Cyrus ----- / PSX-R, Cyrus PreXPd / PSX-R, Cyrus Mono-X (1 pair), ATC SCM-35 - tri-wired with Cyrus solid core speaker cable. All of the above Hi-Fi system is connected to the mains power supply via a Tacima mains conditioner block and each of the 6 Cyrus units has a Supra LoRad shielded mains lead. AV system: Pioneer plasma display (43"). ATC SCM-C1CA, ATC SCM-7 (3 pairs), REL Q150E MKII (1 pair).
